do somebody up, to:  to cause serious physical harm

Fanny Adams:  tinned mutton named for a child gruesomely murdered and dismembered

(h)ooley: a fight, or a riot

Kirkby kiss:  head-butting the face

knucks: brass or steel knuckles

lamp someone, to:  to "brain" someone

leather a child, to: to beat with a strap

lumber, a:  a brawl

mess up 'is wedd'in':  to kick someone in the groin

mess up 'is moosh:  a broken glass shoved in the face

Nutmeggin':  head-butting the face

play tic with someone:  not the children's game; this is a reference to severe physical assault

put ther boot in:  kicking a fallen opponent

put in the nut, to( or puttn'de hed in):  to head-butt

put ther thumbs in: eye-gouging

shindy:  fight

Size 13 interrogation technique: involving the use of boots

soap wrapper: scrapper

steaming:  gang mugging of a victim or an establishment

take a round out of someone, to:  to fight, often in a family brawl

Timpson, to give someone the:  to kick someone

to chin someone: to hit someone on the chin
